Kala Chana Curry | Indian Best Recipie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of kala chana
- Oil
- Onions
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- Coriander Powder
- Chana or Chole masala
- Tomatoes
- Garam Masala
- Red Chili Powder
- Salt
Method
For soaking a chana
- Take kala chana into a bowl and wash it under cold water for at least 2~3 times
- Once chana is washed then soak this chana into enough water overnight or for at least 8~10 hours
- Next day, chana will expand in its size. Then put this soaked chana into pressure cooker and hear 4~5 whistles.
- Boiled chana is ready for cooking
For preparing curry
- Heat oil in the pan. Once oil is hot then add chopped onions and mix. Cook onions until it gets light golden color
- Then add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder and chana masala. Mix and cook it for 2 mins
- Add chopped tomatoes in the pan and season this with garma masala and red chili powder
- Cook onions till tomatoes cooked completely and gets mashed up completely with onions
- Add boiled chana into pan and add salt. Mix and cover it and cook it for 10 mins.
- After 10 mins, kala chana curry is ready to serve
